Pentagon leaker Jack Teixeira asks judge to release him while he awaits trial

Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira asked a judge Monday to be released from jail while he awaits trial for charges under the Espionage Act. 21-year-old Teixeira has been in custody since April 13 and faces two federal charges for alleged leaking classified military documents on the social media platform Discord.
