Police respond to scene of Tel Aviv ramming attack

At least seven people were wounded, three critically, in a car ramming and stabbing attack in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Tuesday, July 4, Israel Police said. Police described the incident as a “terror attack”. “

A suspect that was driving a vehicle on Pinchas Rosen Street rammed into pedestrians standing in the shopping center and proceeded to get out of the vehicle to stab civilians with a sharp object,” they said.

The suspect was shot and killed by a civilian, police told local media. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, framing it as a response to what it said were “crimes against our people in the Jenin camp,” according to the Shehab News Agency.
