Rep. Barry Loudermilk uncovers poor disciplinary record of cop who fatally shot Ashli Babbit on J6

House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) says Michael Byrd, the Capitol police officer who fatally shot Ashli Babbit during the January 6 Capitol riot, should have probably not been employed considering his history of poor disciplinary actions. “I can't imagine another police department in the United States, and I've kind of, without revealing anything, ran this back through some of the law enforcement officers back in Georgia, or the sheriffs and other police chiefs, and all of them said, absolutely no way," he says.
