Rep. Biggs: Tucson sector on track to have over 700,000 encounters at the border this fiscal year
Rep. Andy Biggs says Chief Patrol Agent for the Tucson Sector, John R. Modlin, told him that their sector is on pace to have over 700,000 encounters at the border this fiscal year. In contrast, Biggs says that from 2018 to 2021, the average encounter rate was 60,000 per year.
