Rep. Claudia Tenney: American hostages should not face tax penalties from the IRS

Representative Claudia Tenney (R-NY) says the Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act would ensure that Americans held hostage abroad are not penalized with back taxes by the IRS. Rep. Tenney says the legislation would also strip federal funding to nonprofits that provide assistance to terrorist groups.
