Rep. Jackson ‘briefly detained’ at rodeo during chaotic medical emergency
Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) was handcuffed and placed face-first on the ground by law enforcement while trying to assist a medical emergency at a rodeo over the weekend. When a 15-year-old girl started having a seizure Saturday night at the White Deer Rodeo, Rep. Jackson offered his help as an emergency room physician. In the “very loud and chaotic environment,” police briefly detained the congressman and prevented him from offering further assistance to the teen. Rep. Jackson served as White House physician for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
