House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) says it’s a felony for political campaigns or fundraising platforms like ActBlue to accept foreign donations. “This is a threat to our democracy. If Democrats and Democrat political consultants and Democrat platforms were taking foreign donations to try to win an election, that’s a huge problem and I think every American should be concerned,” he says.
