Rep. Steil celebrates House passing SAVE Act, banning non-citizens from voting in federal elections

House Administration Committee Bryan Steil (R-WI) says requiring voters to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to vote should be a “no brainer” for both sides of the aisles. “But what you actually see is Democrats pushing back. Why? Because at the end of the day, they want to take what they’ve already established in Washington D.C as it relates to municipal elections and roll that out nationwide,” he says. “We’re going to have to continue to work against what the radical left is attempting to do to protect U.S. elections for U.S. citizens only.
