San Francisco approves police use of remote-controlled lethal robots
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to approve the use of robots by SFPD, and under extreme circumstances such robots may be used to kill. San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott clarifies the policy by explaining that the robots would be human-controlled, not autonomous.
