South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says the U.S. Supreme Court overturning U.S. District Judge James Boasberg’s block on President Donald Trump’s deportation of gang members sends a clear message to the lower courts. “They’re basically telling these judges, ‘You can’t overreach the way this judge did’,” he says. “You have to go down to the jurisdiction where the alleged unlawful detention occurred and you have to bring the right claims there, which they didn’t.”
