SC AG Alan Wilson slams district court judge for inserting self into Trump’s Article II power
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says he is leading a coalition of 25 state attorneys general to support President Donald Trump’s deportation agenda. “You have a singular federal district court judge basically inserting himself into a fundamental power of the presidency under Article II and under federal law. The president should be able to do things like effect foreign policy and engage in the protection of national security,” he says. “This judge has no more business trying to turn a plane around taking terrorists out of this country, than that judge has going into the Pentagon and telling generals that they can’t fire missiles at combatants.”
