Sen. Johnson: Rick Scott would bring ‘business-like approach’ as Senate GOP leader

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) says Senator Rick Scott (FL) has the strong, executive experience to succeed Mitch McConnell (KY) as Republicans’ Senate Minority Leader. “You’d see a more business-like approach, a more functional approach, a more collaborative approach,” he says. “We had no idea where Mitch McConnell—what his strategies were on things. He’d keep it so close to the vest, he’d spring it on us at the last minute when there’s nothing we could do about it.”
