Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) says she’s pleased Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered a full review of the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the death of 13 U.S soldiers and 170 civilians. “I fully believe that Secretary Hegseth will get to the bottom of this,” she says. “We will find out what happened in that run-up. We will find out what happened that day at the Abbey Gate.”
