Sen. Wicker condemns use of taxpayer money to facilitate late-term abortions under Pentagon policy

Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) reiterated his opposition to the Pentagon’s controversial abortion policy following a closed-door briefing with Defense Department officials in Washington Wednesday. The Department of Defense policy reimburses service members or their dependents for travel expenses related to abortion care. “I heard officials of the Biden administration say that under this policy, taxpayer money will be used to facilitate abortions in the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy,” Sen. Wicker told reporters after the meeting. “…I don't think the American people want this."
