'Summer of strikes' heats up in Los Angeles
Two major strikes are underway in the U.S. as roughly 15,000 employees at 65 major hotels in the Los Angeles area walked off the job Sunday and are on strike. The union representing the workers says they've been in talks since April over issues involving immediate hourly pay raises, better healthcare and more retirement benefits. Meanwhile, the Hollywood writers' strike continues.
