Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen resigns as party chief
Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen has resigned as the leader of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), after her party suffered heavy losses in the island’s mid-term elections Saturday. Despite resigning as head of her party, she remains as Taiwan's President.
