Tim Parlatore: Biden’s sweeping pardon for Hunter removes his Fifth Amendment protections
Tim Parlatore, founder of the Parlatore Law Group, says President Joe Biden’s extensive pardon of Hunter removes the first son’s right in invoke the Fifth Amendment. “What they can do at this point is they can pull him in front of a congressional committee, they can pull him in front of a grand jury, and they can ask him anything. And unlike before, he has no Fifth Amendment because he has no belief that he can be prosecuted for it, so he’s required to answer every single question fully and honestly and if he lies, that’s perjury. And if he declines to answer, that’s contempt. Either one of those can put him in jail,” he explains.
