UN to temporarily shut down more than 250 programs across Sudan as intense fighting rises
United Nations Aid Chief Martin Griffiths announced in a statement Monday that the international organization will begin to shut down more than 250 programs across Sudan as violent fighting grows across the country. Griffiths calls the nationwide attack on hospitals and humanitarian facilities “extremely disturbing.”
