United Airlines close to deal with Boeing to buy dozens of 787 Dreamliners

United Airlines and Boeing reportedly are close to a mega-deal that would upgrade passenger service in the United States.

The Wall Street Journal reports United is close to finalizing an agreement to buy dozens of Boeing's 787 Dreamliners.

The Journal says the deal could close by the end of December.
