United States delivers aid to Pakistan following catastrophic flooding
The United States Air Force brought supplies to Pakistan on Sunday, September 11, in support of a United States Agency for International Development-led (USAID) humanitarian mission, the Department of Defense said.
The United Nations called the flooding that hit Pakistan a “climate catastrophe” and launched an urgent appeal for $160 million in aid.
USAID Pakistan estimated the death toll from the floods was at least 1,390.
