Village in eastern Russia sees heaviest ashfall in 60 years after Shiveluch eruption

The village of Klyuchi in eastern Russia recorded the most ashfall in 60 years following the eruption of the Shiveluch volcano on April 11, with up to 8.5 centimeters (3.3 inches) recorded, according to Russian news outlets.
