In White Settlement, Texas, police officers responded to a car hitting a pole early Saturday morning and found two people inside the burning vehicle. While the driver managed to escape safely, the male passenger was unconscious and unable to get out, but officers acted swiftly to rescue him before medics arrived.



Both the driver and passenger were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, and the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
