Weather radar shows atmospheric river crossing California
California is in for another week of brutal weather. Almost ninety percent of the state's population is under a flood watch. Forecasters say so-called 'atmospheric river' events will bring heavy rain and high winds Monday, Tuesday and later this week. San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, and Sacramento are among the affected cities. Santa Cruz has been hardest hit so far with reports of high water rescues. Parts of the Sierra could see new snow totals of more than six feet.
