White House: President Biden’s root canal ‘successfully completed’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Monday afternoon that President Biden’s follow-up root canal procedure was “successfully completed” and that he was back to work in the residence. The 25th Amendment, which would have transferred the acting powers of the presidency to Vice President Kamala Harris, was not invoked as Biden was not put under general anesthesia for the dental work.
