White House strikes new agreement with South Korea to deter North Korean nuclear aggression
President Joe Biden and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol spoke about their renewed defense treaty to deter North Korean aggression during a joint press conference at the White House Wednesday. The U.S. has agreed to deploy a nuclear-armed submarine to South Korea and cooperate on military training and information sharing.
