Zelensky welcomes Biden to Kyiv

US President Joe Biden visited Kyiv on Monday, February 20, just days ahead of the anniversary of the launch of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.



“President Joe Biden, welcome to Kyiv! Your visit is an extremely important sign of support for all Ukrainians,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a Facebook post showing the two leaders together. Zelensky and Biden were later seen visiting a memorial for the Heavenly Hundred, people killed during the 2014 “Revolution of Dignity.”
