Four were injured, including an officer and the suspect
A knife attack in Sydney, Australia, left four wounded. New South Wales Police were called to a crash scene at an intersection in Engadine, a suburb of Sydney, on Sunday morning and found multiple stab victims.
Arriving officers first found a 55-year-old man with apparent stab wounds running from the crash scene, Fox News reported.
Officers took the man into custody, using a taser during the arrest. During the interaction, a male officer reportedly sustained a "serious" wrist laceration.
A female passenger of the crashed vehicle also suffered multiple stab wounds, while a fourth person, whose involvement in the incident is unknown, was also injured.
