Iran's parliament speaker says Iran won't be humiliated if U.S. sends ground troops
“Our men are waiting for the arrival of the American soldiers on the ground to set them on fire and punish their regional allies once and for all,” Qalibaf says
Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said the U.S. is "secretly" plotting a ground attack in Iran and that the regime will not be humiliated.
The Pentagon is reportedly drafting options for President Trump to possibly send Special Operations and conventional forces.
“The enemy publicly sends messages of negotiation and dialogue while secretly planning a ground attack,” Ghalibaf said a statement reported by the IRNA news agency.
“Our men are waiting for the arrival of the American soldiers on the ground to set them on fire and punish their regional allies once and for all,” he added.
He has also been quoted as saying, "We will never accept humiliation."
