ISIS on Thursday claimed responsibility for a deadly attack in Iran at a memorial for slain Iranian Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani.

The attack left dozens dead and hundreds injured, the terror monitoring group SITE reports.

CNN reports that 84 people are dead and 284 injured.

This is the deadliest attack in Iran since the Iranian revolution.

Iranian President Ebhrahim Raisi said Israel is responsible for the explosions and warned the country would pay a "heavy price."

The Israeli Defense Forces told CNN it had "no comment" on the matter.

“It does look like a terrorist attack, the type of thing we’ve seen ISIS do in the past. And as far as we’re aware, that’s kind of I think our going assumption at the moment,” a U.S. official told the outlet.
