Israeli military says Israeli soldiers and civilians are being held captive in Gaza by Hamas

The military states that a number of Israelis have been kidnapped after Hamas infiltrated the country and stormed communities in the southern parts of Israel.

Israel's military confirms that Hamas is holding Israeli soldiers and civilians captive in Gaza, according to reports.

The Associated Press reports that it is not clear how many are being held captive.

The military states that a number of Israelis have been kidnapped after Hamas infiltrated the country and stormed communities in the southern parts of Israel.

According to Sky News, Israel has activated reservists and is going after targets in Gaza.

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza launched an attack against Israel on Saturday with rockets and ground forces, inflicting significant casualties. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war following the attack.

Fox News is now reporting that at least 100 Israelis have been killed as a result of the attack with hundreds more wounded.
