Suicide bomber in Afghanistan carries out attack that leaves 6 people dead, at least 13 injured

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack and there is an ongoing investigation.

Authorities in Afghanistan say that a suicide bomber carried out an attack Monday in the capital city of Kabul that killed six people and injured 13. 

A spokesman for the Kabul police chief said that the explosion occurred in a neighborhood in the southwest area of the city. 

A woman was among those who were killed.

The 13 injured were all civilians and have been taken to the hospital for treatment, according to The Associated Press.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack and there is an ongoing investigation.
