Israel resumes war on Hamas, ends ceasefire agreement
The IDF has reportedly dropped leaflets, warning residents to leave southern Gaza, as bombing continues.
Israel's war on Hamas resumed Friday, following the ending of a seven-day- long truce between the sides in hostages and prisoners were released.
The Israeli Defense Forces announced it had “resumed combat operations” in Gaza and alleged Hamas violated the truce first by firing rockets at Israeli territory.
The office of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas, which launched terror attacks on Israel last month, “didn’t respect its obligation to release today all the abducted women and launched rockets towards the citizens of Israel.”
Israel declared war on the militant-terror group following the attacks.
The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza says dozens of people were killed by Israel's military on Friday morning, according to the BBC.
