The Virginia Democrat whose campaign for a state Assembly seat was overshadowed by revelations about her online porn hustle lost her race Tuesday night.

The Associated Press projected Wednesday the 40-year-old candidate, Susanna Gibson, narrowly lost to Republican David Owen in Virginia House District 57.

The Washington Post reported in September about Gibson's gig in which she had live-streamed sex with her husband and soliciting money from viewers in exchange for specific acts.

Gibson accused Republicans of playing dirty politics in exposing her conduct.

The mother of two posted over a dozen videos that were archived on a website in September 2022, which is after she officially entered the race, according to FoxNews.com.
