Twitter has banned Juanita Broaddrick after she questioned the COVID-19 vaccine's efficacy in a Saturday tweet, the social media giant told her in a statement Fox News obtained.

Broaddrick previously said she was raped by then-Arkansas Attorney General Bill Clinton in 1978 while she worked as a nursing home administrator.

Twitter said in an email that her account was locked for "violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19."

In the offending tweet, Broaddrick wrote, "When will this vaccine crap be over? Big Pharma has profited enough for the next hundred years. Stop pushing vaccines that don’t work and alter DNA."

The company instructed Broaddrick to delete the post if she wanted her account restored.

"We understand that during times of crisis and instability, it is difficult to know what to do to keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Under this policy, we require the removal of content that may pose a risk to people’s health, including content that goes directly against guidance from authoritative sources of global and local public health information," the company reportedly told her.

Twitter did not respond to Fox's request for comment.

If Broaddrick repeats the offense, she will be permanently suspended from the platform, Twitter warned. It is unclear if this was her first violation.

As of Monday evening, her account is still locked.
