ABC News republished a revised version of a report that examined the business dealings of President Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, after deleted the original article less than 24 hours after publication.

The original report, published Oct. 7 under the headline “Trump sons’ investments have won billions in Pentagon contracts since his election,” examined government contracts awarded to companies linked to investments associated with the Trump brothers.

The network had removed the story without a public explanation, drawing criticism from political commentators.

ABC News republished the article Friday with a new headline, “New shipyard announced amid earlier Democratic concerns about potential conflicts of interest,” and an editor’s note acknowledging errors involving company investments, government contracts and the timeline of events.
