Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports is no longer part of Fox Sports' Big Noon Kickoff, and the Barstool Sports founder said he knows who is responsible.

Portnoy was informed Friday that he and other Barstool personalities would no longer appear on Fox's college football pregame show, a decision that came less than 24 hours before the program was scheduled to broadcast from Minneapolis ahead of Michigan's game against Minnesota.

The move ends Portnoy's regular role on the program after Barstool and Fox began working together last fall.

Portnoy pointed the finger at Ohio State and head coach Ryan Day.

Portnoy claimed that Ohio State and Day had repeatedly pressured Fox over his presence on the show. He argued that the network ultimately decided the relationship was no longer worth the potential complications.

“Juice wasn’t worth the squeeze,” Portnoy wrote in a post addressing the decision.
