MSNBC correspondent Joy Reid said that Florida has an "extremist right-wing fascist type" government following GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's win in the state and the failure of an abortion ballot measure.

“It’s a pure Project 2025 in miniature in Florida,” Reid said during an MSNBC panel, according to The New York Post

“That kind of extremist right-wing, fascist-type government in Florida — does that make it a more attractive place — or does it make it more like some of the other southern states that don’t get investment?” she added.

The Associated Press has projected Trump to win Florida.

The AP also reported that a constitutional amendment that would have overturned the state's six-week abortion ban failed after the measure was unable to secure the approval from the minimum 60% of voters.

Reid has in the past gone after Republicans and even said that when President Joe Biden was running for re-election that she would vote for him even if he was in a coma
