Democrat-turned-Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says CNN edited a recent TV interview to make him look "crazy."

During the interview aired Monday, Kennedy was asked who was a worse threat to democracy – President Biden or presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald – who will likely face each other in the November General Election.

Kennedy said he was "not going to answer," but later said, "I can make the argument that President Biden is a much worse threat to democracy."

Kennedy says that CNN Digital edited the interview for its website and made him look "crazy."

“What I said was that I can make this argument, and I didn’t say definitively whether I believed one or the other was more dangerous to democracy,” he said, according to The Hill. “I did say that I don’t believe either of them are gonna destroy democracy.”

He said that the interview was framed to make him look crazy to liberals.

“When CNN Digital got it, they cut my quote so it looked like I was making this definitive statement that Biden was more of a threat to democracy than Trump," Kennedy said. "But of course, I never said that. But that’s the way it made me look crazy to liberals.”
