Former President Donald Trump canceled a planned appearance on CNBC this week, reportedly due to a scheduling conflict.
The network's Joe Kernen stated that "Trump canceled" on "Squawk Box." The campaign subsequently indicated “the interview was pulled due to a scheduling conflict,” according to The Hill. Trump would instead sit for an interview with Bloomberg.
Kerner did not directly engage with Trump on the scheduling of his interview.
While Harris has pursued a media blitz and maximized her public appearances on major networks in recent weeks, Trump has been more selective in his appearances, opting not to participate in an interview with "60 Minutes."
He has further excoriated the media over what he perceives to be lopsided coverage in Harris's favor and called on the FCC to consider rebidding the broadcast licenses of major networks of the issue.
