Missouri AG Bailey suggests a third party to monitor Big Tech and gov. relationship
"We're going to continue to fight to protect free speech in America," Bailey said.
Missouri GOP Attorney General Andrew Bailey indicated that it might be a smart idea to have a third party monitor the relationship between Big Tech and the government in order to make sure censorship and abuse of power doesn't occur.
"Eventually Congress is gonna have to determine whether or not an Inspector General is appropriate to monitor compliance with this court order," Bailey told the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear a free speech case brought against President Biden regarding Big Tech censorship.
"We're going to continue to fight to protect free speech in America and take it all the way to the United States Supreme Court – the highest court in the land," Bailey said.
"We've won at court against the Biden censorship regime three times now," he added. "The score is Missouri three and Biden zero in the fight for free speech. We're going to the Super Bowl and we're gonna bring home a win for the American people."
The case is currently pending in the Supreme Court. This lawsuit was brought against the Biden administration, alleging that it was working with social media companies to censor certain political viewpoints and criticism of the administration.
"We've got to build a wall of separation between tech and state," Bailey stated. "This lawsuit has uncovered a relationship of both coercion and collusion from the White House across a spectrum of federal bureaucratic agencies with their cronies and big tech social media corporations."
