Caitlin Clark scores 20 in WNBA debut in Indiana Fever's losing effort against Connecticut Suns

Former college basketball sensation Caitlin Clark scored 20 point Tuesday night in her professional debut.

Clark, who played for the University of Iowa and holds the NCAA basketball scoring record, struggled early in her first regular-season game with the Indiana Fever, according or YahooSports.com.

And she committed a total 10 turnovers again the Connecticut Suns – the highest number for a WNBA player making a debut, Yahoo also reports. 

Clark, who led all Fever scorers, hit a 3-pointer early in the third quarter and had a mini scoring run in the fourth in which she score eight straight points.
