Coco Gauff wins US Open, her first Grand Slam title

Coco Gauff, 19, won the U.S. Open today in New York, by winning a 3-set match over the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who became the number 1 ranked player in the world today. The scores were 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Gauff is the first American to have won this tournament since Sloan Stephens won it in 2017. It was her first grand slam win.
