Democratic Sen. Fetterman seen waving Israeli flag at pro-Palestinian protesters
Protesters in the video can be heard chanting, "What do we want? Ceasefire. When do we want it? Now."
Senator John Fetterman, D-Pa., was filmed on Thursday holding up an Israeli flag in the direction of pro-Palestine protesters outside of the Capitol.
Protesters in the video can be heard chanting, "What do we want? Ceasefire. When do we want it? Now."
The video shows Fetterman walking by the protesters while waving a small Israeli flag.
Fetterman has made his support of Israel clear since the beginning of the Hamas-Israel war.
"In my front office I have displayed the posters of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas," Fetterman wrote on the social media platform X. "They will stay up until every single person is safely returned home."
He also said that he had met with families of Hamas hostages and survivors of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
"Together, we began to post photos of the hostages outside my office to stress the urgent need to bring them all home. My office is posting every last one," he wrote on X.
