Trump, Pence to speak at NRA's annual fundraiser event
Many hopeful GOP candidates for president often speak at the NRA to show their support for the Second Amendment
Former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence are expected to make appearances Friday at the National Rifle Association's weekend-long annual meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The annual meeting is described by the NRA as having "highly anticipated fundraising events featuring top brand giveaways."
Many hopeful GOP candidates for president often speak at the NRA to show their support for the Second Amendment.
Support from the group and its members in past elections was consider critical in winning an election.
Pence has not yet announced his candidacy, but is expected to run.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will not be present, but there will be a video address from him, according to CBS News.
DeSantis also has yet to announced his candidacy.
Former Arkansas GOP Gov. Asa Hutchinson who recently announced his candidacy for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination will make an appearance.
