France high-speed rail network hit by arson, 'criminal' acts of vandalism on start of Paris Olympics

France’s high-speed rail network was vandalized Friday, the day of Opening Ceremonies for the 2024 Summer Olympic in Paris.

French officials says the attacks, including arson, are “criminal" acts of vandalism and are paralyzing travel to Paris from across the rest of France and Europe, according to the Associated Press. 

However, the officials say there was no sign of a direct link to the Games.
