"I don't want to see us continue to go down the path of these unsolicited mail-in ballots which are unconstitutional," Lieutenant Col. Allen West said.

The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), self-described conservative alternative to the better-known AARP is hosting a 'Bootcamp for Boomers' to inspire citizens to get involved and make a difference as the 2024 presidential election approaches.

Some of the topics that will be discussed in the one-day training include safeguarding elections, how to get involved in advocacy at the local and state level and understanding how the transgender agenda will have an impact on the next generation, according to their website.

"We need parents," former college swimmer Riley Gaines said on a "Just the News" special hosted by John Solomon and AMAC. "We need parents who are willing to defend their daughters. That being said, we also need parents who are willing to teach their sons how to be strong men and how to be masculine men. So that's the role of parents and all of this."

Gaines has been one of the most vocal of athletes advocating against biological males competing in women's sports, as the 12-time All-American swimmer at the University of Kentucky had to compete against University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer, Lia Thomas. In 2022, while swimming for the University of Kentucky in the 200-yard NCAA freestyle championship, Gaines tied for fifth place with University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, who became the first openly trans woman champion in the NCAA women's division after winning the 500-yard freestyle.

Gaines, who has been targeted by some elements of the transexual community, explained that people in leadership positions during her college swimming days didn't speak out about  biological males competing in women's sports, which led her to do it.

"How in the world could I myself, a woman and a female athlete, expect someone else to jump in and save me if I wasn't even willing to save myself?" Gaines asked. "This waiting for someone else to do something when I could do something is what kind of what thrusted me over the edge."

Gaines will be speaking at the "Bootcamp for Boomers" along with Lieutenant Col. Allen West and Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fl.

West said that family values need to come back to strengthen the American people, especially with the way the country is headed.

"I think that it is time for us to reassert ourselves with our children and grandchildren to once again reclaim those values because I'm sick and tired of hearing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris here telling us that our children aren't ours," he said.

Biden was criticized last April after making remarks that the nation's "children are all our children," and there's "no such thing as someone else's child."

The event will train attendees at a grassroots level to get involved at the local level when it comes to elections and how to get involved in their child's schools regarding the transgender agenda.

West spoke out against mail-in ballots and argued that they are unconstitutional.

"I don't want to see us continue to go down the path of these unsolicited mail-in ballots which are unconstitutional," he said. "We need to make sure that we're checking our voter registration rolls and where we can in these Republican counties........we need to go back to a system that provides confidence in people as far as our election integrity," he said.

Sen Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said the most important thing Americans can pursue at this time is the truth and to then spread it.

"What I'm telling people is to believe it. Start researching it. I can't tell you exactly where all the truths are. All I can say is my eyes have been open to the fact that we've been lied to," he said in reference to lies the federal government has told the American people.

"It's only the truth that is going to set us free," he added.
