Honor guard collapses, faints next to Justice O'Connor's casket inside Supreme Court

An honor guard collapsed Monday while standing alongside the casket of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor while the former judge was lying in repose at the Supreme Court building.

The Supreme Court guard could be seen on camera wobbling and starting to fall before another guard caught her, according to the Daily Wire.

As of Wednesday, there was still no official report on what caused the guard to pass out or faint. 

O’Connor died earlier this month in Phoenix. She was 93 years old.

A funeral service will be held for O'Connor on Tuesday at the Washington National Cathedral, in the nation's capital.

President Biden and Chief Justice John Roberts are schedule to give remarks at the event.
