Hunter Biden says on podcast that the GOP are 'sick people' who are trying to kill him
On the podcast, Hunter Biden claimed Republicans are "engaging in a public campaign to lure him into a substance abuse relapse in an effort to damage his father’s presidency."
President Joe Biden's son Hunter said during a podcast interview that Republicans are "very sick people" who want to kill him and end his father's presidency.
The first son went on the “Moby Pod” podcast on Friday where he claimed the GOP is “engaging in a public campaign to lure him into a substance abuse relapse in an effort to damage his father’s presidency," NBC News reports.
Earlier this week, Hunter Biden was charged with three tax felonies and six misdemeanors that carry a maximum of 17 years in prison if convicted.
House Republicans are currently leading an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden over an alleged influence-peddling scheme involving Hunter. They are planning a vote in the House this week to formalize the impeachment inquiry.
“What they’re trying to do is, they’re trying to kill me knowing it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle," Hunter said on the podcast. "I realized that it’s not about me. And then the second thing that I realized is that these people are just sad. Very, very sick people that have most likely just faced traumas in their lives."
He referred to the probes by the House GOP as a "clown show" that he doesn't want to be a part of.
"Because number one, nobody’s voting for my dad because of me or not. That’s the goddamn truth," he later said.
