Katie Ledecky wins the gold in the 800m for 4th consecutive Olympics

Katie Ledecky won the gold medal in the women’s 800m freestyle at the Paris Olympics. This adds to her previous record 13 Olympic medals. She had won this event in three straight Olympics. Michael Phelps is the only other swimmer to have won the same event in four consecutive Olympics.

Ariarne Titmus of Australia won the silver medal.
