At least 11 shot during Juneteenth celebrations in Oakland

As of now there are not any fatalities that have been reported.

Multiple people were shot during Juneteenth gatherings in Oakland on Wednesday, law enforcement officials say. 

At least 11 were shot, and some officers were injured, according to a local NBC News outlet. As of now there are not any fatalities that have been reported.

There have been no arrests made at this time in connection to the shooting. One person was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer.

In the evening of a Juneteenth gathering, a fight broke out. This resulted in crowds going towards the fight which is when shots were fired. 

It is unsure how many shooters were involved. 

The investigation of who was involved is still ongoing.
